« CHRISTIAN UNITY WAS TANGIBLE ! »
Day 1 – CHRISTival
It was the first time in years that a three-day evangelistic campaign took place in Guadeloupe. We received a word from God to lead a campaign there. It was a real challenge, as there is no real unity between the different church denominations. Nevertheless, we followed God’s Word and are very encouraged to have done so. The first evening was promising not only for our team, but also for the pastors and churches present.

Janna Reichör – The Holy Spirit was moving among us !
It was my first time as a speaker at a major event. I was under a lot of pressure before it started. I’m a woman, white, giving my testimony of sexual abuse and it’s full of arguments why I might not have preached on that stage that night. But the moment the worship began, that pressure was gone. I praised my Lord with all my heart and we experienced a moment of unity between intercessors, praise, churches and evangelism teams. I’m sure that’s why we saw so many miracles this week and during this christival evening!
We were able to interview 6 people on stage. A hearing-impaired woman was healed, a woman suffering from hypertension who had constant pain in her legs and had been unable to bend down for several years was healed, and a man coughing up blood because of his cancer was totally healed! We saw the hand of God during the evening, and Christian unity was palpable! We got feedback from the teams in the field and many healings and deliverances took place, but not everyone dared to come on stage to testify. The Holy Spirit was moving among us!
Dinart Jenny – Jesus delivered my grandmother
I really enjoyed the first evening of the christival! My grandmother came and received deliverance from witchcraft and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. For me, it’s like a double reward from Jesus, a good wage. Now I’m waiting for the rest of my family. It’s amazing to see how faithful Jesus is. He told me he would take care of my family, and he showed me. I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow!
Manuel Reichör – Christian unity was tangible !
We had a very festive atmosphere, and together with several churches, we lifted up Jesus. I, Manuel, preached a simple, clear sermon on the work of the cross. When we arrived at the call to give one’s life to Jesus, there were 27 people making the decision to repent and follow Jesus, and many were healed and set free. We are very encouraged by this first evening on the Place de la Victoire in Pointe a Pitre. As evangelist Janna shared her testimony and prayed for deliverance and healing, several people were set free from demons and healed of various illnesses. We can’t wait for the second evening! We saw the hand of God during the evening, and the unity of the Christians was tangible !
Gabriela Guihot – “Let the little children come to me…”
That first evening was powerful! God’s presence was tangible and I could see God’s faithfulness! This evening confirmed a word I had received that said I was going to be a child magnet, and tonight I saw it concretely! As I walked through the square, a child ran up to me and told me he wanted to serve the Lord by my side. It was beautiful! Shortly afterwards, I saw another child smiling at me, so I went to see him. I prayed with him and could see he was touched by the Holy Spirit! I thank Jesus for all these moments !
Christian Fouret – The devil lost his reign
It was the unknown and a certain amount of outside pressure because I knew, from the testimonies of the possessed who came to see me on Wednesday, that the Place de la Victoire was the place where Satan reigns. It was an ice-breaker. And when the praise band arrived, the ice was broken and the audience began to praise and dance. And as the night went on, more and more people arrived. The message of evangelism arrived, brought by Manuel. At the call, hands went up and it was really encouraging. Shortly afterwards, Janna intervened for the healing prayer, and despite her stress, she succeeded. It’s liberating for the future, because when she called, people came forward for healing, and during the prayer, a Christian woman started demonstrating next to me. There was a real atmosphere of joy and faith when the healed testified on the platform! The devil has lost his reign in this square. I was delighted to see the young people from Together We Plant go out into the crowd on their own and pray without a leader. For the locals and pastors, it was a relief and a release from the doubts they had about us.
