The spiritual ground was already prepared before the launch of our campaign in Zambia. From April 20 to 26, we held a Fire Camp on site. Our objective was clear: to equip, ignite, and activate leaders and local Christians for evangelism and discipleship.
During that week, we fully trained and sent out 55 people. Far from remaining passive, these students immediately put their teaching into practice in the field during the preparation phase.
As a result, the impact was immediate. In just a few days, they reached 1,500 people and led 844 souls to make a decision for Jesus. In addition, the Lord powerfully confirmed their work by granting 15 miraculous healings and 1 deliverance.
The long-awaited major campaign
Zachary Geiger, a volunteer evangelist with Together We Plant, had a strong burden on his heart for this campaign in Zambia. He teamed up with Abuid Nyaende, a local evangelist, and together they worked hard to prepare and host these major evening gatherings. It was a great joy for us to see him serve in this way.
We were then glad to join them and run, from April 29 to May 3, the five days of the large public evangelistic campaign. Upon arriving in the city, we noticed that not a single pole was left without posters announcing these five nights of fire.
And the Holy Spirit moved far beyond anything we had dared to imagine. The crowd grew dramatically, rising from 13,000 people on the first day to more than 41,000 at the closing night.
A historic first: baptisms at the heart of the campaign
This campaign in Zambia will remain a unique milestone in the history of our ministry. For the first time at an event of this scale, we baptized new believers on site, directly during the campaign itself.
There is nothing more beautiful than seeing men and women choose to follow Jesus through the waters of baptism and repent from alcoholism, prostitution, theft, and more. They left transformed by Jesus. And I return home honored to witness what Jesus is doing. – Alexis
As soon as the altar call was given, hearts opened to Jesus. Immediately afterward, the team led the new believers to the baptism pools. What an extraordinary sight it was to see these men, women, and young people step forward spontaneously! They left behind their old lives and came out of the water cleansed. The crowd cheered as they radiated with joy in a rare intensity of spiritual celebration.
In the end, 283 people publicly declared their faith through water baptism in just a few days!
The miracle that shook the crowd
Just as in the book of Acts, the Lord confirmed the proclamation of His Word through extraordinary signs and wonders. One particular healing deeply shook the entire community.
Right after the preaching, a woman came forward toward the platform. At that moment, a murmur spread through the crowd. Everyone in the neighborhood knew her. People knew that she had suffered terribly from back pain for nearly 20 years. She could barely stand upright. But as soon as our team released a prayer of faith, the power of Jesus touched her instantly.
Before the astonished eyes of the thousands gathered there, the miracle happened: she was completely healed. She began moving and bending her back without the slightest pain. This powerful testimony revealed the glory of God and ignited the faith of the entire crowd.
When this woman came forward to testify, the crowd reacted MUCH more strongly. We didn’t immediately understand everything that was happening, but one thing was clear: Jesus had just done something truly extraordinary! — Zach

Behind every number there is a face, a story, and an eternity that was transformed in just a few days. When we look at the report from these two weeks in Twatasha, we can only marvel at God’s faithfulness.
- In total, 138,711 people gathered and heard the Gospel proclaimed with power (1,500 during the Fire Camp and 137,211 during the campaign).
- 42,952 hearts chose to surrender completely and give their lives to Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God has taken hold of Twatasha!
- The Holy Spirit confirmed His Word with 31 instant miraculous healings and 1 glorious deliverance.
- In addition, 283 new believers were baptized on site, publicly sealing their new life in Jesus.
