Day 2 – CHRISTival

The second evening was very trying. That weekend, a storm hit the island of Guadeloupe and it rained heavily. On the first evening, the locals told us we’d been spared because it didn’t rain in the evening. On the second night, it started raining really hard, just as the program was about to begin. For about an hour, everyone waited to see if the storm would subside or if everything had to be stopped for safety reasons. The teams sang and prayed under the tents and, after about 50 minutes, the rain stopped, the clouds disappeared and the sky opened up. We were able to get underway, and in the end there were even more people than on the first night. Evangelist Christian Fouret preached the gospel and evangelist Janna Reichör prayed for the sick. That evening, many people were set free from demons. We were amazed and grateful that God had opened heaven and that so many people could be set free and saved.

On the second evening of the CHRISTival, I was able to pray for 3 deliverances. And it was the first time I’d done a deliverance for a child who was about 6/7 years old. I prayed with Pierre and Gabi. It was very intense. We then prayed for his whole family (his parents and the boy’s sister) and it was really great to see them touched by the Holy Spirit.
Then we prayed for deliverance for a Christian woman who had a lot of spirits and really wanted to be free. During the deliverance, I suddenly had a terrible pain in one ear and knew I had to pray against a spirit of inferiority, curses, etc. I had never heard the Holy Spirit speak to me before. I’d never heard the Holy Spirit speak like that before. Then we prayed for a woman who was baptized in the Holy Spirit and received her call from God to intercession. She began to cry very hard and Christophe said that God had given her a heart that wept and broke for the lost.

As we got underway, a tropical downpour before a strong wind descended on the Place de la Victoire. I was in the speakers’ tent, feeling disappointed and unmotivated as I saw no one in the square because of the weather! The whole team started praying and after 1/2 hour, the sky opened up and people started arriving. The praise band set off, and to God’s glory there were more people than the day before, despite the bad weather. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the worship band transformed the atmosphere once again. It was absolutely incredible!
It was my turn to preach the gospel. For the first time, I was at peace despite the external pressure, and I felt a great inner joy in seeing people give their lives to Jesus by raising their hands. This is my reward, like an accomplishment… Then Janna arrived to pray about healing and deliverance. She did it again! During this prayer time and until 23:00, we had a lot of deliverance. Everyone who felt a spiritual block came forward at the call and then went to the counselors throughout the evening. I felt that the Holy Spirit wanted to deliver his people so that they could liberate their country. This had a major impact on the Christians and pastors of Gwada, including evangelist Prudence, who came to me for deliverance and wants to do a FireCamp so that she can be a part of the FireCamp.
