From November 3rd to 8th, twenty young men and women responded to the call for this Fire Camp Namur! Twenty young people determined to set aside a week to say, “Here I am. Send me!”.
The goal? To seek God, grow in intimacy with Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them so that He can work through them.
Fire Camp Namur is much more than a training program: it is fertile ground where the evangelists of tomorrow are born. Strengthened in their identity as children of God, freed from their chains, and filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit, a generation is rising.
Thus, each one realizes during this intense week that revival does not fall from heaven. It begins in hearts completely surrendered to Jesus.

The students are trained to:
-
Take time for morning devotion.
-
Hear and recognize the voice of God. Be led by the Spirit.
-
Understand the calling of an evangelist, as well as character and integrity.
-
Share their story and God’s story—whether heart to heart or before a crowd.
Then comes the moment to put it into practice. The twenty students of this edition made the name of Jesus resound in the streets of Namur. Sent into parks, squares, and the train station, they proclaimed the Gospel everywhere they went.
- 1213 people heard the Gospel clearly and completely.
- Among them, 52 decided to follow Jesus, acknowledging Him as Savior and Lord.
- In addition, we witnessed 2 people healed, and 1 person asked to be baptized.
I was on the train that was taking me from the prison back home to Brussels. I heard clearly in my heart: “Get off in Namur.” And even though I didn’t know why, I had this conviction that I needed to obey. That’s how I got off at Namur station and met those people who were talking about Jesus.
I was proclaiming for the first time in my life. I wasn’t used to this kind of exercise at all, and I felt a bit nervous at first. But as soon as I opened my mouth, I felt the Spirit leading me. What we had been taught in the morning became real!
And I was especially moved when, after I finished my proclamation, a young boy who had heard it came up to me and said, “Well done, ma’am. And thank you for what you’re doing.”

These testimonies reveal how much God cares for each of His children. We see His active hand, Jesus’ closeness to us, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
That’s why the story of this young man who came out of prison could also be the story of our colleague at work; Jesus is seeking him too. On the other hand, the encouragement from this student is for you as well; the Holy Spirit guides and equips all who ask.
In short, beyond the deep teachings and simple yet effective tools, the goal of a Fire Camp is not just to learn how to evangelize. Our desire is that everyone embraces a culture of evangelism, where the Holy Spirit acts freely and brings boldness. What burns in us is to make disciples and bear fruit wherever we are.
