Côte d’Ivoire : The Harvest from generation to generation

GOD OF GENERATIONS : WHEN HIS HAND IS ON YOUR LEGACY !

“Posterity will serve Him; future generations will be told about the Lord. They will proclaim His righteousness, to a people yet unborn for He has done it.” Psalm 22:30-31

From October 12 to 26, the Reïchor family had the opportunity to minister together in Côte d’Ivoire! For the first time, 12-year-old Rachel joined her family on a mission trip, reaching out to young people eagerly awaiting a message of hope in Jesus! Although Manuel and Janna Reïchor founded Together We Plant, it was actually Bjorn and Brita Lutke, Rachel’s grandparents, who first began the family’s mission work. This mission reflects God’s promise and His will to work through our descendants, spreading His love to many. May God do the same for you, let this grace be upon you !

Rachel Reïchor (12 years old) :

“My first day was overwhelming. There were so many children, and it was a lot to take in. But by the second day, I felt really comfortable. I loved sharing a story that connected with the Gospel in front of all these young people. One of my favorite moments was serving during a Sunday service. We prayed for people who came forward for deliverance, and God gave me words of knowledge. We could all feel God’s presence.”

Janna Reïchor :

“It was incredible to find ourselves in places we’d never imagine could host gatherings of young people. Right in the middle of palm plantations, sometimes in very remote areas, there would suddenly be hundreds of teenagers. We took long, challenging roads to reach these places, and it was so touching to see leaders waiting, joyful that we were there to share the Gospel. We partnered with the Bible Reading League, which will continue to guide these young people with prayer groups and Bible study gatherings. Everyone had their role, but we all worked together, and that was so powerful.

Experiencing this mission with Rachel was unforgettable. We were a team, and seeing her heart for missions and her determination to travel the world to share the Good News was a deep fulfillment for me as a mother. It’s touching to see your child live out their faith and watch how young people are impacted by our testimony and the Gospel.

I also had a powerful experience praying for a young girl who trembled as she received the Holy Spirit. God revealed to me that she had an evangelist’s calling, and I felt His presence so strongly while praying for her. Preaching to crowds is amazing, but witnessing how God touches each person individually is truly exceptional.”

Manuel Reïchor :

“This mission to Côte d’Ivoire was incredibly fruitful. We shared the Gospel with over 20,000 young people and were able to train future leaders for this type of outreach. We prepared the way for more missions like this one, setting up teams on the ground and enabling more French-speaking evangelists to reach even more people. It was a great opportunity for some evangelists to go on a mission trip for the first time, and for others, it was a training experience to become leaders and guide teams in future trips. We’re building something that will last, and that’s what’s exciting—creating something for the future. And the fact that my own daughter came on her first mission trip and shared God’s Word with so many young people was deeply moving. It was a beautiful moment.”
