At the end of June 2025, Marseille experienced something unforgettable. As part of the Million Month, a global movement where Christians in more than 30 European cities took to the streets to share Jesus, our city witnessed a milestone event: a large concert at the Dôme of Marseille on Sunday, June 29th.
A united team for one mission
Behind this project stood a pilot team made up of believers from different churches and Christian organizations in Marseille. Together, we carried one vision: to lift up the name of Jesus in the heart of our city.
With Together We Plant (TWP), we had the privilege and responsibility of leading the evangelism efforts—preparing the ground, encouraging every believer to invite a friend, and making sure the proclamation of Jesus Christ was central to everything.
A bold step of faith
It had been many years since Marseille had seen an event of such magnitude focused solely on one purpose: proclaiming Jesus. Organizing something of this size was a bold step of faith for the whole team. Our goal was clear and ambitious: to gather 3,000 people at the Dôme and give each one the opportunity to encounter Jesus.
We shared one simple but powerful challenge: every Christian should come with a friend who doesn’t yet know Jesus, or who has drifted away, so that they could experience Him personally.
A crowd gathered
On the night of the concert, the Dôme was filled. More than 3,200 people attended, including around 600 through special invitation tickets given out to non-believing friends. On stage, Dan Luiten and his team, along with Be Witness, lifted up Jesus passionately. Worship, music, and testimonies prepared hearts to receive the Gospel message.
Hearts transformed
Then came the altar call. The atmosphere was charged with God’s presence. Tears flowed, faces lit up, and more than 120 people stepped forward to give their lives to Jesus. Some testimonies were breathtaking: people who had never known Jesus personally shared how they felt an irresistible inner force drawing them forward. Others were simply overwhelmed by God’s love, ready to be reconciled with their Creator.
A turning point for Marseille
That night, something shifted in our city. To see so many people gathered to proclaim the name of Jesus at the very heart of Marseille was truly historic. This was more than a concert—it was a prophetic declaration for the city, a sign that Marseille belongs to Jesus, and that revival is on the horizon.
✨ We will never forget that night at the Dôme: a moment of faith, worship, and transformation. Yes, it was a historic moment for Marseille, and we believe it is only the beginning.
